A bi-annual event sharing legacy songs publicly and meeting others who have also written Swan Songs. Each song is introduced by it's writer (Or a family member if the writer has since passed away), then listened to together. Led by guitarist Ansley Prothero, you’ll learn the essentials including warm-ups, basic chords, chord progressions, rhythm, and strumming patterns - all while getting ready to play along with your favourite songs!
Aimed at young people who have learned some basic skills on guitar such as simple chords and scales, and who would like to progress their skills further. Our tutor, guitarist Ansley Prothero, will support you to transform the skills that you have already developed into a foundation for learning and performing your own songs.
