At Leeds Libraries, something curious has appeared. Tucked away on shelves and corners, story bird boxes have begun to nest. Each box holds a tiny world inside, filled with pictures, clues, and hints of a story waiting to be discovered. Who might live inside? Where have they come from, and what do they have to tell us? Have a peep inside a box and let your imagination take flight. Follow the clues, invent a tale, or simply listen to what the story might become. No two stories will be the same.

Dive into the ocean in our under the sea adventure, make friends with the fish, sea urchins, jellyfish and a beluga whale as you search for the octopus's garden through the wonders of the sea. This sensory story is led by 2 practitioners from Embracing Arts theatre company. Using intensive interaction and sensory engagement to encourage play, creativity and communication. This session is fully inclusive and accessible to children with additional needs.
