Leeds Libraries will have a new Library Management System from Thursday 8 October. We’re working on this with other libraries in the region; to improve the services we provide and keep costs down.
From Friday 2 to Wednesday 7 October, some temporary measures will be in place to ensure the transition runs smoothly. You can still borrow, renew and return books in person.
-
Access to customer accounts will be limited.
-
The online library catalogue will not be available, meaning customers will not be able to join online, search the catalogue, reserve or renew items.
-
There may be delays in processing and supplying reserves and they will not be visible on the system.
-
Email notifications, including reserve collection notices and overdue reminders, will not be sent for approximately two weeks.
-
New stock currently on order may not appear in the catalogue for a couple of weeks while orders are re-established with our suppliers.
-
Any book lists that customers have created will need to be re-created on the new system
We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause customers. We look forward to bringing you the benefits of our new Library Management System.
