Temporary Closure
Halton Library will be closed for refurbishment from 12 March 2026
Work is now well underway at Halton Library to transform it into a modern, multi-functional Community Hub and Library.
With an updated interior and exterior, new library shelving and the addition of large windows to create a bright and welcoming space, this promises to be an exciting enhancement of our community space.
The refurbishment works are due to take 6 months. During this time, there will a temporary replacement library service in place.
For the week commencing 13th April, the mobile library service will be available:
