Temporary closure
Halton Library is currently closed for refurbishment.
Work is now well underway at Halton Library to transform it into a modern, multi-functional Community Hub and Library.
With an updated interior and exterior, new library shelving and the addition of large windows to create a bright and welcoming space, this promises to be an exciting enhancement of our community space.
The refurbishment works are due to take 6 months. During this time, there will a temporary replacement mobile library service in place. The mobile library service will run either outside the railings of Temple Newsam Halton Primary School or from St Wilfrid's Church on the following days and times:

| Thursday (Primary School) | 9:30am to 4:30pm |

| Saturday (St Wilfrid's) | 10am to 1pm |
| Sunday | Closed |
The councillor surgery usually runs on the 1st Saturday of each month, 11am-12pm, from the mobile library.
Please note: There will be no mobile library on Thursday 17 September and the councillor surgery will take place on the third Saturday, 19 September 11am-12pm, from the mobile library.
